The main configuration of the "Ariel" low pressure foam machine consists of:
A) POLYOL-ISOCYANATE TANK MODULE
Flanged carbon steel tank having 50/80 ltr capacity.
Component flow ball valve at suction port.
Visual level through transparent pipe fitted on 1/2" unions;
B) POLYOL-ISOCYANATE METERING MODULES
The two modules are placed at the bottom of framework, and enough high to be maintained.
The main features are:
volumetric high-accuracy gear-pump;
3phase asynchronous motor (8 poles , 700 rpm, servo-fanned) to be coupled with inverter;
lantern coupling;
TUV certified pipes;
safety pressure gauge, type DN 100 (½" vertical connection, 0-20 bar).
0-40 digital pressure gauge with 3 figures and max safety contact.
C) THERMOREGULATION MODULE
Tube-nest heat exchanger.
Heating element (1500W-400V power with cables l=2000).
Temperature feeler, type PT 100, placed at the bottom of component tank.
Cooling water on/off ½" valve, type AN 133.
System for temperature control and cycle process, by means of a high-accuracy .
digital thermoregulatory (+/- 1°C tolerance).
D) SOLVENT WASHING MODULE
18 litres capacity stainless steel pressurised tank.
Pressure gauge c/w manometer.
Solvent on/off solenoid valve sited near the head.
Main air on/off solenoid valve to dry the head.
E) MIXING HEAD MODULE
The mixing head is of Ekosystem make.
Its working concept lies in the continuous recycle of components
in head by means of flow-valves pneumatically
controlled via a solenoid valve sited near the head.
The mixer can be of two different typologies:
standard with helical millings;
"pin"-made to be used for processing high viscosities or big outputs.
F) CONTROL AND PUSH-BUTTONS PANELS
All the necessary controls for machine operation are of easy approach.
A Siemens operator board processes the working and
head washing times, and is also the
interface used to visualise the machine alarms, such as:
pumps motors overload;
mixer motor overload;
polyol/isocyanate max pressure; polyol/isocyanate max level; solvent min level. |
